BIO

SANDRO DI STEFANO  (Award-Winning Composer, Arranger, Conductor)

Composer of a long series of audiovisual productions, around 60 between Feature films and TV films, Docs, Short films, Commercials and Installations, Cartoons, in several Eu Countries and in USA. 

His activity it’s mainly oriented to the "Composition, Orchestration , Arranging, Programming and Orchestra Conduction". Experts in computer music and virtual orchestration too.

He wrote books about Film Music, such as “Music for image”, together to Oscar Prizes Ennio Morricone and Nicola Piovani.

His last USA movie “The Executioners” it's distributed by Lions Gate (USA) and by the Oscar Prize Company Voltage Pictures (EU), and his film “Flashburn” was screened in Cannes Festival 2017.

In the meantime in Europe, his last movie “The man with the magic box", released in Poland, coming from an Award Special Mention Winning original Screenplay in Cannes Festival 2015. He is at work on the last movie of Christopher Lambert (Highlander) and Maria Grazia Cucinotta (Life is beautiful) “Voice of the wolf". 

Sandro in 2016 was the official composer engaged for the Vatican Jubilee’s film and in addition to the soundtrack, he wrote the main piece with Lyric by Pope Francis and the next season will be released the monumental works - 10 episodes - on a Vatican commission, “Sacred Art”, with Alberto Angela and produced by RAI tv and Official Vatican TV.
