Martina Klier was born in Germany and spent many years abroad in the United States, France, and Italy. She has worked extensively across theatre, film, and television. A multilingual actress with a background in classical singing, Klier brings a powerful physical and vocal presence to her performances. Her distinctive eyes and classically refined features lend themselves equally well to period productions and contemporary work, while her fluency in German, English, Italian, French, and Spanish enables her to portray a wide range of international characters.

Her screen credits include the thriller series Serial Cleaner (2026), the Grimme Award-nominated drama series Dignity(2019), and the critically acclaimed Italian feature film La Vacanza (2019). In 2026, she successfully brought the classic Italian tradition of Commedia dell’arte to the Berlin stage with Mein lieber Arlecchino….

Klier trained at the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York, as well as through further training in Paris and Rome. As a classically trained singer, she continues to explore the expressive possibilities of the voice. Her wide vocal range and particularly deep, warm timbre further enhance the intensity and versatility of her presence on both stage and screen.
