ALA.NI BIO -

Paris-based Londoner of Grenadian descent, ALA.NI is a mulV disciplinary arVst.

A singer/song writer, music producer, visual arVst, video director, writer, photographer

and all round creaVve.

Her photography work has been presented in collaboraVon with ColeIe Paris,

Blue Project Gallery, Barcelona, Art Factory Gallery, Paris.

ALA.NI has directed and conceptualised most of her music videos and sees this visual

aspect as an intrinsic part of her music making.

ALA.NI’s last album, self-wriIen, produced & arranged, ACCA, released in January 2020,

featuring appearances from both Iggy Pop and rapper/actor Lakeith Stanfield (of Atlanta

and Sorry To Bother You fame) and recorded enVrely A cappella.

ACCA is the follow-up to ALA.NI’s widely praised 2016 debut You & I

recorded at Andrew Hale’s (Sade) Owl Studios & Damon Albarn’s (Blur, Gorillaz) Studio

13 with support by the likes of NPR music, The Fader, Elle France, Associated Press and

Nylon, with some esteemed fans in the likes of David Lynch, David Byrne and

Jean-BapVste Mondino.

A powerful and uncompromising vision of modern womanhood, ALA.NI is an

unapologeVcally honest and emoVonal arVst in many ways.
